Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

Google Analytics collects information such as the pages you view, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and details about your device and browser. This data is used in aggregate to help us improve the site and is not used to identify you personally.

Our Mobile Application

Our Android application shows the same EuroMillions results as this website inside a full-screen view. No account or sign-up is required to use it.

The app has no gambling functionality: it does not sell tickets, accept entries or wagers, or process payments, whether with real or simulated money.

The app requests exactly one permission: internet access, which it needs to load content from this website. It does not read your contacts, location, storage, device identifiers, or advertising ID.

Advertising and analytics in the app work in the same way as on the website, as described in the Advertising and Analytics sections above. If you would like data associated with your use of the app deleted, see Data Deletion Requests below.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Data Deletion Requests

You do not need an account to request that we delete data we hold about you.

To request deletion, please contact us through our contact page with the subject line "Data deletion request". Please include enough detail (such as the email address you used, or the approximate date) for us to locate your data.

When you submit a valid request, we will delete any contact messages you have sent us, any comments you have left on the site and their associated metadata, and any other data held on our behalf by our service providers that relates to you. We aim to complete all deletion requests within 30 days.

You can also take some of these steps yourself at any time: clear your cookies for this website, reset or delete your device’s advertising identifier in your device settings, or uninstall the app.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
